Negative patterns form in the subconscious mind as a result of faulty programming and habitual negative thinking.
For this reason it is useful to regularly self inventory our beliefs. It is not enough to merely “Think Positive” we have to reprogram and repattern at a deeper level to insure results congruent with our goals and vision.
Here are 9 of the most commonly misconstrued belief patterns. Muscle test yourself using both the positive and negative phrases below to find out which patterns of belief are being held energetically and considered “real” by your subconscious mind:
+ I have a well defined set of goals for all areas of my life.
- My goals are elusive to me.
+The less stressed I am the easier it is for me to produce positive results.
- It’s necessary for me to worry to accomplish my goals.
+ The wealthier I am the better able I am to carry out my life purpose.
- I believe the desire for money and wealth is not spiritual.
+ I work hard to achieve my goals.
- I don’t believe hard work pays off.
+ The more money I have the more I have to give.
-I liken the pursuit of money to greed.
+I have total clarity on what I want to achieve 1 year from now.
- I have no clue what the universe has in store for me, I go with the flow.
+I have my long term goals mapped out.
- I don’t need a plan, the universe provides.
+ My well-being is a priority, I enjoy giving to myself.
-I have to much to do for others to focus any time on me.
+I am happy with my current life situation.
- I never feel completely satisfied or fulfilled regardles what I do or how much I have.
If you tested strong to both the positive and negative statement or weak on the positive and strong on the negative, you can do a Positive Belief Statement Balance for yourself to remedy the situation.
It is more difficult to consistently produce results in life congruent with goals and vision, until negative programs in the subconscious are turned off. Even if you did not receive a heavy dose of toxic programming growing up, your subconscious still accumulated negetive programming. Information overload from media, educational systems, political arenas, religious affiliations and genetics all impact subconscious programming and the patterning of beliefs.
To turn off the old program do the following: With your eyes open while looking down at the floor, repeat the positive belief 3 times. Then do the same thing again 3 times silently with your eyes closed. Retest yourself by muscle testing both the positive and negative statement to be sure you have been successful. If you are not successfully switched off to the negative and switched on to the positive belief, have a few sips of water then retest.
